Thinking about going with a few lads for a weekend. Good crack?
Academy Plaza Hotel Dublin - Free Breakfast Only on Official Website

This is the hotel mate, right in the centre so no need for taxi's at all.

Recommend visiting temple bar one night, folk from all over the world drinking together. Last time I was there we ended up pissed as fuck having a world arm wrestling tournament, about 6 different nations. Great crack.

Henieken bar is canny too but theres plenty of other places nearby to check out.

The sports bar (the living room) next door is brilliant aswell, if you're going in summer they usually have a bbq on.

Thank you marra

Also, Guinness factory's brilliant.

360 degree view from the top and a pint of Guinness for each of you.

Originally I thought Guinness tasting better over there was just a myth but it's true, obviously doesn't travel well

Enjoy fella!
Class that bar like. Views to the Wicklow mountains are great. Shame you are only allowed one pint!

Went there the first time I went over when I was 18.

Our tour group was us 3 and 6 muslim lasses.

So when we got to the top and pulled the pints they gave us their pints too

A little trip out I'd recommend is getting a taxi/mini bus out to Johnnie Fox's pub. Great place.

People who don't drink going on Brewery tours. How very odd :D

They didn't even stay for the view or anything. They didn't ask any questions.

That bit where you get a whiskey glass of fresh Guinness made that day... they didn't want to see any of that.

It was almost like they asked to be dropped off at the Guineas museum hoping to see old coins or Guinea pigs and there was just a complete mix up.

One of my favourite places like, I love it.

Really enjoyed kilmainham jail but didn't find Dublin that impressive as a city. Guinness tour is crap etc, and there isn't that much to see. Just going drinking, its probably great. Rather go to the west coast

I enjoyed the guinness tour like, worth it for the pint at the end in the sky bar. I enjoyed the Jameson tour as well.

I did a couple of days of work with An Post recently. Due to go back there soon. Their building itself was interesting as it was partly blown up, as was Nelson’s Pillar just outside.

Enjoyed exploring the bars in the evenings. Very easy (and cheap) to get to and from the airport on the bus.

Love the place. Went with @makumstu last year during World Cup. Stopped in a hotel above a nightclub. Sure it was less than 2 Euro a pint inside the hotel
