False call. Never seen a teenager pushing a pram with a tab hanging out her mouth and the kid munching on a Greggs dummy. No full house for yea.

That Thomas Clayton, why was he bothered about the £50 he paid for his room? They gave him a bed for the night in the cells
I imagine he felt robbed.

OH THE IRONY!!!!

Was a canny watch that , is it mainly based around sunderland CID or reckon it will move on to other stations

Article says that Skivington was his wifes main carer.

Clearly didnt care that much to travel to England from Spain to carry out attack. Or if he was resident at the address given to the court he cared even less as he fled to Spain. It stated he didnt have a history of criminality yet was wanted for something else in addition to the aggrevated burglary

Not read all of the thread. But those thugs knew he had that money on his premises. Any thief would have been over the moon with £4000 and fled but they knew there was more.
So has he blabbed himself at some point that 'he keeps his money at home'. And someone has passed that on. How else would they have known?

No excuse of course and no one should suffer that but you do bring that risk to yourself if you don't put it in a bank and try to save a bit of tax.

See the old fella at work though? Maybe he owned the business? Maybe it was takings that he couldn’t pay into the bank cos it was closed? More to this than was shown. Maybe the twats were casing him for months.
Most older people have lots of cash at home plus it looked like he had a nearly new type place.Lots of cash in and out .

The Police when they catch these wrang uns never get backed up by the courts. Prisons cant cope I guess. The country is in a mess.
That's the problem its like watching a brilliant match, the best team wins and then the trophy gets handed to the wrong team

Fugitives was on earlier as well, another good watch, rounding up people from other countries on the run

The bloke who was robbed at his home in Penshaw lives in my Nan's street (directly opposite her house in actual fact).

Always been a very shifty bloke IMO, not in any way condoning or justifying what happened to him as that was a cowardly act.

My dad text me to tell me he was watching it last night and he wanted a second opinion that it was definitely him. There'll be more to that story without a doubt is all I'll say.

He lost my sympathy when he was banging on about being a Christian and having to forgive them. Something didnt sit quite right with his behaviour. Maybe i am too much of a cynic
