That's true up to a point, that opening batsmen should have walked, he knew he'd nicked it.Nowt he could do about it. The lad he threw it to imediatelly called the 6 without waiting for the umpires or a TV check, which sums up the New Zealand ethos. They are serious competitors and want to win, but they play the game by the book and are sportsmen at heart. They would rather lose than cheat and that's what makes them different to their neighbours.
I have a lot of time for their cricket team in particular.
Smith is a superb man and commentator.
For the regulars lads we have seen a game that will be talked about in a hundred years
I cannot stop the tears, it’s a huge privilege to share this with everyone. I’m thinking of my mam and did (rips) who loved their sport, cricket and football but I know they are watching through me
Honestly everyone I’m emotionally gone here. That was beyond belief

Just another thought. The 4 over throws that Stokes got was touch and go for a run out if he hadn't had hit it. It was a cracking throw, looked like it was going to the keeper right next to the stumps!![]()
I also thought they should have been able to get seven off fourpeople will focus on the extra runs off stokes bat but the cup was lost by Trent Boult when he had that catch and just stood on the boundary line
Treasure days like this with himMe dad was leaving when buttler got out, changed his mind, put his shoes on and was leaving again at the next wicket, then sat in the kitchen with me mam until the final over, then came back and sat with me and my son to watch the super overs.
I've been round and apologised to the neighbours for the shouting from him when we won
I do mate, we nearly lost him before Christmas so today was extra specialTreasure days like this with him
Bristol C banging down the door for the last half hour in 2008 on a par for me but apart from that. Difficult to compare as this is massive but I was there with me dad that day and you can't beat being there imoI’ve just about calmed down.
I’ve been to hundreds of Sunderland matches over the years, watched thousands more games of football on the telly.
Been to numerous Durham games both home and away, and a few England games. Again, watched hundreds on the telly.
I have never, ever felt nerves like that today. Never. Old Trafford cup semi final shoot out, play off finals, games against the mags.....none come close.
What a game, what a side. Unbelievable drama, an unbelievable win
Ah nice!I do mate, we nearly lost him before Christmas so today was extra special
Watched this in a fishing village in Greece. Just me all day in the bar on me tablet rackin up the bar bill - then the last half hour and me going crackas, then I had to explain cricket to all the waiters. They went fuckin mad at the end.
Bar bill was 70 euro.
NOt sure I can watch them. So much daramaI’m buzzing here. No drink or drugs but adrenaline
Waiting for the highlights on ch4.
After spending 70 euros at a bar in Greece I am impressed you can still operate social media devices.
As a point of order he didn’t hit it, the ball hit his bat.Just another thought. The 4 over throws that Stokes got was touch and go for a run out if he hadn't had hit it. It was a cracking throw, looked like it was going to the keeper right next to the stumps!![]()
