Talking out of your arse, the lads a good player, the big issue is whether he can stay fit. If he proves he can then we will be a better team with him in it. If not then get rid.
We also collected more points last season with him in the team. The highest percentage success rate out of any of our midfielders.

He gets called shite a lot on here and I don’t get it either.
McGeouch is too good for L1, I would say he could be a top end Championship player. Unfortunately we've never really seen him prove it over a sustained period of time as when he's getting up to speed and starting to show signs of quality.... He goes and gets himself injured. Which is probably the reason why he's at Sunderland in L1

It’s just the fact that he is slow, pedestrian no physical presence, cant run with the ball, struggles to pass the ball forward, never looks like scoring a goal and is very injury prone. However, I accept some do rate him and he certainly divides opinion.

What evidence is there of him being that level?

Leadbitter, 0-9, Honeyman, Robson, Power, McGeouch, Embleton.....
I cannot see us signing Dobson unless someone leaves

We haven't replaced Morgan.

Catts, Power, Leabitter and McGeouch are all similar players. In hindsight, we shouldn't have signed Power imo and I don't think Leadbitter was the answer. We needed more attack minded midfielders, then again maybe Ross was content playing so negatively.
