Looks like 'Serandy' are still on. Thought Serena might have pulled out like Graff did back in the day.

Probably be even higher once the women's draw came out. I know you should never write her off, but I just didn't see her as a massive favourite, especially as it was looking like Kerber in R4, Barty in QF, and possibly Kvitova in the SF (depending on how she was feeling with just coming back from injury). Riske is a very good grass player and gave her a great match today, but Suarez Navarro and Riske is not Kerber and Barty back to back, and I just don't think there is a strong enough contender left in the draw to cope with her - Pliskova maybe if her serve was absolutely on it, but she's obviously out as well. Easy to say now, but last year Kerber was more of a threat than anyone left in it this year. Makes it more interesting her still around though, and if it is Konta-Serena, then that will be a great occasion.
 
Fantastic start by Muchova here after nervously being broken in the first game. Looks like yesterday isn't affecting her at all.

5-2 Muchova, barely been on 20 mins.

It's good how it's just getting underway at 4pm, so many will be able to catch the latter stages when they are back in from work, or all of the 3rd set should it go that far. Konta-Halep was a great QF 2 years ago and that peaked at 7.4m viewers, so hopefully this does big numbers as well.

I've got to go out at 6pm so looks like I'm going to miss the end- unless of course Konta continues with the form she's displayed since the sixth game in which case it won't matter anyhow.
