It's a pretty dull line up. I'm not too sold on the women's either though.

I'm pretty flat about the line up as well. I'm not sure what's happened to make me think like that as there's not been too many surprised today. Maybe Raonic going out? I'm not a huge fan, but he has made the final before, so feels a bigger name and not a quite a veteran, and while he'd likely go down 6-4 6-3 6-4 or something to Djok in the semi (if he got there), you might think if he served fantastically well, he might have had a very outside chance, whereas now you may as well pencil Novak into the final. Maybe Berrettini folding so easily has dampened my spirits as well, and maybe a continuation of FAA and Evans going out the round before, Pella or RBA in the semi final is pretty dull. Nishikori always seems to get to the QF before surrendering to whichever big 3 he faces, and Querrey might be able to hold serve a few times against Nadal, and I suppose there will be references to Gilles Miller beating Rafa 2 years ago, and Sam beating Novak and Murray in recent years, but the thoughts of Querrey in another Wimbledon SF doesn't really appeal either.

I don't mind the women's. I like Konta, Halep and Svitolina, so if those 3 got through then I'd be very happy with the semi finals, but none are foregone conclusions either. I'd prefer Serena not to win it (but I think she will now), but a potential Serena-Konta semi final would be absolutely huge. Yastremska going out to Zhang was a huge blow, as it's one of my favourites losing to one of my least, so a double whammy.

Serena-Strycova and Zhang-Muchova would be pretty devastating for me .

Anyone watching the Leconte doubles match?

Hilarious! The umpire is currently on the court, and hitting some decent shots

Wonder how much SkyBet are going to lose on that 7/1 for the big three to get to the semis should it come in, thought they were mad at the time offering such a big price for something that was always highly likely to happen.

Zhang is absolutely battering the ball. Beat Garcia easily, hit one of the best defenders of all time off the court in Wozniacki, certainly in with more than a small chance here. Makes you wonder how it's taken her so long to figure it out on grass.

It'll be good for the WTA if Zhang can pull this off given the direction they are going with the WTA finals going there for 10 years, and China now having more tournaments than anyone else, but this would be one of the most random runs ever if a 30 year old journeywomen who's done pretty much nothing her entire career, never been top 20, had lost all 5 previous Wimbledon matches, can suddenly peak out of nowhere. It does lose credibility a bit.

She has played well all week though and is capable of beating everyone in the bottom half. I have a tenner on her pre match to win this match at 4/1, as they looked far too big, but I'd be delighted if it turned out to be a tenner wasted.

Get in. Not done yet though.

Well done Halep. 2nd best player for most of that first set and looked like she would go 1-5 down and with it, likely the first set, but she dug deep and somehow got back on terms and then won the tie break. A lot more errors from Zhang after that, who lost a bit of belief - she pretty much had to take that first set the way it went, and it was quite comfortable after that, but a decent match.

I'd love Konta to triumph, but I'd be happy enough if Halep won it from here.

Really hard to predict the way this one is going to go, so many shifts in momentum.

Who do we think will win the other ladies 1/4 finals yet to start?

I reckon Svitolina, largely because of the lack of recovery time for Muchova from yesterday.
