Takeover in trouble

Come on guys we all support and love safc but we’ve just finished 5th in the third tier, my first year was 87 in the same league and we Walked it, don’t care what other people say we are the biggest club in this league and should make a statement, that season after crimbo was bloody awful, I was merely asking if people had heard things about them making quick money, no hidden agenda
I have, but pretty much the same as was covered earlier.

Don't think anybody is having a go mate, just other opinions on it. sometimes it's easy to jump to conclusions because of radio silence.

We can't say Stewart didn't put his hand in his pocket in Jan, just didn't work out.

We kept relying on Mcgeady and not feeding Grigg.

Now we had a pre season together we will hit the ground running.

That’s certainly the hope and it’s a big test of Ross. How will he cope with the pressure of getting 100 points?

I’d be far more relaxed if we see half a dozen proven players in positions we need strengthening in coming into the club in the next couple of weeks.

People will still say thats fine if he has, in fact they did when the first rumour game out

Some people are beyond help

All this talk of hear say (pure and simple before any cunny funt starts) rumour bullshit and interviews that can be twisted more than pasta are being bandied around and there is nothing substantial to back them up and it is wrong that our own fans are using them as a stick to beat the Club. Ask Stewart and Charlie questions fair enough but they are handicapped with everything they say it gets twisted

They have tried to explain the finances in several ways on several occasions. The accounts will reveal what has or hasn’t gone on for all to see rather than these wild accusations which frankly aren’t helping the club

...haven't improved the squad. You not see that?

But we're not weaker.. We've improved and our RB position while potentially improving out CM slot at the same time with O Nien. Not half as bad as some people make out.

Are we weaker now at the start of this season than we were at the start of last? Absolutely. No Maja and no Cattermole. Matthews also made some good contributions. As too did James.

Yeah I'd agree with Maja.. The rest not so much. The new RB should slot in nicely and perform for us. And I'm hoping O Nien gets his chance in midfield now catts has gone.. We shall see though.

Agreed

You can't really count maja nobody could see him doing as well as he did at the time, James average, mcglochlin is probably similar standard wise to mathews

How can’t we count Maja? Have we a striker in the side now who is better than he performed last season? He showed by the end of August he was more than good enough at this level.

Right fella your a sensible chap can you say this general statement is true or false ..don ,charlie and santi have bought safc with approx 5 to 17 million of the own money (accounts will show true figure) and have used moneys owed/payments due to that business to finance the rest of the deal ? Is a simple question really!I dont know why they have to dress it up it makes business sense for them, less so for us though as we have the best interests of the club at heart they as it appears more every day dont!

The minutes say a lot, they've invested 12 million, used the rest with the club's money and have no obligation to pay it back

And now they are looking for a massive profit

He is 100% involved, he throws the odd criticism of very small issues in just to make sure he looks like a fan

Someone posted his first day of posts on, they were so well spelt and different in style, its obvious just pretending with the spelling mistakes etc
I saw the spelling mistakes i thought he was just an old fekka like me trying to post with a mobile phone and giving up with predictive text.........:oops:...... the three amigos cannot hide their true nature for much longer ..We will get a clearer picture in the next few months! If they are seen to take away millions from the club and were recruiting players of the standard of Lee bungle the wear will need to be dredged for discarded rose tinted specs.Wearside is a very welcoming place if your honest ,dont shirk your round and dont treat us like flat cap wearing whippet bothering bumpkins. It can be a very cold and unwecoming place for grifters and flim flam men..are you reading this kildare boy?

I think you've summed it up well

indeed. would the be the stupidest lie in the hsiroty pf ther world..to say you have loads of money raises fans expectations.

Oh and then we look at the facts, not the words. We spent £3m on a player in Jan. breaking the transfer record for this league. Indicates we had plenty of cash then.
Your blind faith and relentless parroting of any propaganda that comes out the club or Del Boy and Rodney is alarming. You're probably right in this case, but no one on here knows for sure.

On the other hand I know who my first customer will be when I open the magic bean emporium.

Feels like this will they won’t they investment saga is really beginning to impact significantly on our transfer dealings this summer.

Roker Report now suggesting our move for Motherwell winger Chris Cadden is being scuppered by the financial uncertainty at the club .....”The report goes on to say that any English club would have to pay a £150,000 compensation fee to the Scottish Premiership side, an obstacle for Sunderland with Ross being limited as to what he can do in the transfer market until the club’s future is resolved.”

The pool of players who are realistic targets for a L1 club is a limited number and the best of that number aren’t going to wait around all summer for the chance to play for a side that tailed off to a disappointing 5th place last season.

Despite what people say, the reality is, they couldn't really afford to buy the club

they mustered 12 million together, that was it

Its been evident all along

Its a f***ing nightmare at the minute

Exactly - which is why complaints about lack of signings at this stage are completely justified, not 'bed wetting'.

The vast majority of signings in League One are free transfers. The majority of those - and certainly the best ones - will have been done already, because they were freely available from the beginning of this week. Our squad relative to others has gone backwards.

It's pretty obvious now that we won't be splashing the cash, so we have very little opportunity to improve the squad other than loans (which are a gamble that never seems to work for us), free transfers that nobody wants (like Burge), or sell our few saleable assets like McLaughlin to bring someone in.

100 points my arse.
