Immensely proud of the lads’ performances of late - from what was our worst start to a First Class season, we’ve now gone four games unbeaten, with two wins.
Anderson or not, we matched Lancashire for much of this game and had chances to take charge, it wasn’t to be, but they’ve been pretty relentless this season and we’ve stopped them dead.
It backs up the hope of a possible promotion charge, I’m still not getting giddy, but there’s a mettle and a resolve within the side that wasn’t there in April and May.
Special mention to Bancroft too, he’s taken charge and really shown leadership fitting of a captain with his performances.
