Jack Ross...16 Games Left As SAFC Manager?

As I said my opinion to which I’m entitled

Thank you
He won the next two games with many praising his change of tactics.
Few were complaining after we won on Friday.
I’ve been massively frustrated at times but I’m willing to give him a bit longer.
The manager will always split opinion, and that’s absolutely fair enough. For me I’ve seen how constant change has sent us from crisis to crisis, and if possible I’d prefer to stick with him a bit longer.
Fair play Janey. I hope he proves me massively wrong and he is here for the next decade...bookmark this when we are in the Champions League!

Just attack teams and play good football is all I ask.

Would we have been automatically promoted by now with Coleman?personally i think we would have been in a better position than we are.

Here we go again, “All aboard the manager merry go around”
You can't just stick with him for the sake of it. If we're League 1 next season and not where we want to be after ten games, he'll have had longer than any of our last 5 managers and at much lower level of football.

At the end of the day he inherited a good side that did well last season in comfortably beating the team that are now 10th in the Prem and into the FA Cup semis.

Pretty much on track for him to be sacked after 10 games. An opening 1 v 1 draw with oxford will see it become almost inevitable. Can’t say I’ve got any faith in Ross at all to deliver promotion.

16 games too many.

He should be replaced now not part way through potentially ruining another season.

Oh, and the glorious owners who have saved our club and can’t do wrong have heaped unbelievable pressure on him suggesting we WILL get promotion with over 100 points.

Not a hope in hell of Ross getting us 100 points next season. It was a stupid thing to say in amongst one or two other stupid things that methven has said.

I think he will do well, last season was very difficult and very challenging- Jack should be given the chance to sort his own squad.

He’s one of football management’s most intelligent managers and I’m a great believer in intellect

I fully agree. I was all for giving him another season until his clueless last few weeks of the season. He just didn't learn from his mistakes.
After Rochdale away we were second with a game in hand and just 6 games to go iirc. Never mind all this crap about - look what he inherited at the start of the season rubbish. We were there, we had it in our hands and he fluffed his lines not once, but twice. Not good enough.

Wembley was a disgrace. Both times.

Yes well I’m a great believer in winning football matches, enough to get us out of this shit league. Unfortunately jack isn’t.

He had a very challenging pre season last year, give him a chance

This wont go down well but thats fine.

As it is now looking highly unlikely that we will automatically go up Ross has 3 games left in this division this season. If, as expected, we do not go up automatically, then he has maximum 3 games in the play offs.

If we bladder the play offs and 10 games into next season we are not top and winning our home games with a degree of comfort...can anyone see him being here 11 games into next season?

Knowing what we know about football being a results orientated business and the acute pressure he would be under at SAFC given the above.....how long does this bloke have left if he fucks it up? Lets say we are 6th; 11 games into next season, can anyone see him being here at that point? No chance.

Couldnt care less what anyone says but we cannot under any circumstances hang around this horrendous division for anymore than this season and next. Cant be contemplated.

Ross has to deliver.

You normally speak sense bro.

Fingers crossed it will be ok

I'm a fan of ross .. he's a man. He is a clever man who is also strong and radge

Yes it was so challenging that he got us second in the league with a game in hand with just 6 games to go and then blew it spectacularly - not once but twice. Last pre season is an excuse and not a very good one. We were well over that after the Rochdale game away.

no idea why this stuff gets churned out time after time. whats your excuse next season if and when he blows it? Another challenging season - in the 3rd division? At what point does this bloke gets sacked - ever?

for now he stays but make no mistake about it a failure to defeat Oxford at home in the first game of the season and his time will almost be over with us. He has zero excuses now, like the football club itself. They are both all out of excuses for failure at SAFC.

I made a thread in February saying if we don’t go up he should be sacked and got stick off idiots. Now they're all saying the same thing
Im not. I only feel he should take a look at his coaching staff, of which he is one of them.

See who comes in and who he tries to release but im gonna shout my tits off as usual.......and no matter how disgruntled i wont boo, yes i may mutter and shake my head as i walk back over the town but thats it.
