Not according to a REAL ITK mate...

Yes I know it's the parody account, but the blokes he's trolling haven't a f***ing clue...

I love this one.

Hearings unconfirmed reports from our sources inside the club that Rafa has contributed to the Almiron transfer himself. Benitez could have given anything up to £4 million to get the deal over the line. This is unheard of in football

Amongst an absolute welter of sycophantic bullshit being spouted over Rafa leaving I put forward as a genuine contender as the best/worst of the lot.
That is vomit inducing and you are right so far up his arse peeping out of his gob

Dear God,

To be fair Twitter just like this place - there's so much traffic that even though people have been outed as WUM's, next day they post and someone who doesn't realise bites again.

According to the Sun Benitez was shocked NU said he was leaving - as he hoped they would make an 11th hour bid to keep him  Did his annual brinkmanship backfire this time ?

Yeah, we are competing at our level and spending within our level, we can't deny that.
All I am saying is that we either try and maintain this, hope we find a cheap star and rely upon loans, hope that there is atleast three teams that are worse than us. Since Ashley has came in we have been relegated twice and all but two seasons have been in a relegation battle for the majority of the season.
So this doesn't work, essentially we are a yoyo club. ok, I can accept that is what we are.
However a gamble is required, spend more than our income and try to become a safe mid table club, raise our profile and try and get further investment via sponsorship etc that would raise our income. (even the current raise in ticket prices is something I would endorse if I was sure that would be invested) from there, you gamble again, try and become the challengers for the Europa spots. This requires future planning and extra investment. but we don't, we have to settle because we have a Chairman that wont invest, and I guess why would he gamble, he doesn't like us, we don't like him so why would he.
I don't see why any fan of any sports club in the world wouldn't want that, it's become a very strange game where being ran sensibly (at the cost of the sporting side) is something to be admired.. I find it bizarre.

Because you are mistaking fianancial ruin for ambition.

The reason you aren't progressing is because your world class manager has played it safe.

Daryl Murphy
Joselu
Diame
Clark
Yedlin
Rondon
Gayle
Atsu

All signings that were never going to grow and were bought to do a job and just that.

The time he did gamble

Almiron
Muto
Sels
Murphy winger

It went wrong.

Maybe your world class manager didn't do such a great job. It how you spend it not how much you spend.

Look at James Maddison went for similar money to Almiron and looks twice the player.

Up to 187 pages? Havent had chance to catch up but cant be because of a recent competitive victory as clubs have gone in different league directions last couple of seasons. Cant because Rafa no longer manager as all on here think hes rubbish and over-rated. Not that will be trawling through thread this size as will only get impression Sunderland are obsessed about Newcastle and that cant be right.
