I reckon "marra" might be up there as the most Sunderland word for me, like. I learned it on here; no-one in Shildon or Bishop says it.
I'm hearing marra being mentioned a lot more these days and they are even saying nice one as well.

Well it’s used in Ryhope, but there’s still plenty of owld pitmen left in Ryhope.It's a Durham pit village word that they use all over the north east now (from what I can see), certainly not a Sunderland word.
