The most Sunderland phrase you can think of?

I reckon "marra" might be up there as the most Sunderland word for me, like. I learned it on here; no-one in Shildon or Bishop says it.

Loads say it in Cumbria.

I'm hearing marra being mentioned a lot more these days and they are even saying nice one as well.

All the best marras. I think its an old shipping term.

I heard it was a mining term, from the fellas you went underground with. I could be wrong though
