Shame he couldn’t lift the European cup with Sunderland, last night was a good second best though

Aye, if the Directors hadn't turned down Clough - twice - we might have seen a Sunderland captain raise that trophy instead of the captain of Nottingham Forest - twice. What might have been...

I really don't want to stop this Henderson Appreciation Society as it is lovely and please keep it going but one thing I want to bring to your attention.

He plays for LIVERPOOL. He does not represent Sunderland anymore. Neither the club nor the city. That now is only where he just happened to be born in. That is where it begins and ends for me. Everything else about Jordan is Liverpool.

Sometimes I think Sunderland fans put too much emphasis on the fact a player was born in the city. Why?

You really take fuckwittery to the next level.
You're talking about a lad that has our club coursing through his veins
How many Prem players will you see in the crowd at Wembley with the rest of us watching a cup final

He had to move on to take his career to the next level which he has done, successfully

You need to get out more

He continues to represent the city while he continues to support the club. Which he clearly does. He'll come home at some point

He's a WUM. Probably still smarting from the fact that he was unable to get the same sort of attention for his pretendy going to Wembley with his girlfriend thread that he got for his pretending to follow a coach to the Checkatrade to save petrol thread.

Over the moon for him. Seems like a top lad and a model professional, some of the stick he’s taken from fans in general and so called f***ing pundits is laughable, they can fuck off and look at that picture of him sat resting his feet on the trophy on the plane home.
