Oh yes. Usually accompanied by a 'We need to...' when the 'we' really only applies to me.

I was sitting with my wife and she sent me a text saying 'I think your great.'
I replied 'No, you're great.'
She got all giggly and is wandering around in a good mood now.
Should I tell her I was just correcting her grammar or should I leave it?

How many times a 31 year old can ask and unfortunately get money off his mother because of his lack of responsibility to himself. Hopefully he gets what he deserves which will be absolutely zilch anyway and then he really will be potless. I wish I could see that before I go, although with any luck he will have drunk or smoked himself to an early grave by then. I live in hope if there is any justice for my wife and I.

3 days to payday equals 2 more texts to his mother nailed on. My fault for moving to Scotland to earn money mind. You reap what you sow I suppose and he thinks he is punishing us for being born up here. The only person he will hurt the most is himself but he will never realize that. What he learnt at University and to come out with a degree counts for nothing when common sense is missing. I wouldn't have thought it was a recipe for mental health issues but in this case I may be wrong. He lives on his own so can only beat himself up and obviously does. As parents we have obviously failed somehow.
 
On a less serious note being told after an ultrasound scan to lose some weight. 6 feet tall 15 stone fair enough, BMI a bit high so middle age spread needs sorted. However the lecturer, a female nurse of ample proportion,size 18 at a minimum estimate tells me with a straight face to eat less. TBF she wouldn't be heavier than myself but at about 5ft 6 it really is an eye-opener when she seemed unaware that if you should practice what you preach she was off the scale. I did manage to keep a straight face myself but I know I couldn't do it again.
