Think about it, in a long season of 46 games that’s 138 points up for grabs. The fact that we finished just a few points behind Bransley means there was hardly anything between the two teams. In terms of club stature and potential though the gulf is astronomical and that’s why it’s better we go up instead of them. I’m sure the EFL would prefer to have our fans visitin away grounds next season rather than 200-300 that Bransley take.
It doesn’t hurt to fire off a petition to promote us instead of them, the vast majority of neutrals would be behind us too.
Exactly. Just a small town club, insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Whereas we are top 10 in the country with the right backing behind us. Absolute no brainier really.
