Kimpioka

Have to say I found it very odd. Weirdest thing for me was that he seemed to drop down the pecking order after scoring at Accrington.

Exactly this, absolute madness that a player good enough for champions league etc isn't good enough for league 1

Cos he’s not very good
If he had played the same amount of games as Wyke and Grigg he'd have sored more goals and improved for the experience of getting first team football. He's inconsistent and his touch sometimes lets him down but he played well in the EFLT games he played and give the opposition defences hell, getting a few goals in the process.

What talented young footballer would sign for a league 1 club if they are going to act like this just because they haven't decided to sign a contract yet? Not many is my guess. At this point we should be trying to make ourselves look like the best option possible for young players by showing a clear pathway to the first team, patience when they get there to allow players time to adapt and improve. Certainly not trying to force their hands into signing new contracts like this. Let's make ourselves the best proposition for young players we possibly can and hope they decide to stay, some won't but unfortunately that's just the reality of our situation.

Kimpioka is nowhere near ready imo.

A run out in cup games and the odd few minutes from the bench if we are a few goals to the good should be his level at this time. If he thinks he's worth more or can get more game time elsewhere then let him go. The club shouldn't be getting dictated to by youngsters who've barely kicked a football yet.

With our free scoring hero’s Wyke & Grigg in front of him in the pecking order?

Poor lad didn’t stand a chance.

He's just not good enough at the minute, he may or may not get better but the same people who are saying he should be playing would be the very same to have a go if he was playing and playing poorly.

Feels like some folk are just bringing up anything and everything just to get some anger out.

He's not good enough and everyone knows it.

It's desperation I do believe Embleton should be more involved

I expect he will be next season after getting some game time under his belt and the need for someone who can play in that no.10 role.

I doubt we'll see wholesale changes next season, just 2/3 and possibly a couple more if we manage to shift anyone on but I doubt they'll be many.

I think we need more we will need a few CBs and a rb for start the problem is midfield we need to shift ad add some

From what I’ve seen of him he won’t make it at this level. He’s erratic as hell

Yes, he does some class things and very poor things because he's young and looks a bit awkward but imo he'd only improve with more minutes on the pitch. I'd rather that than what we get from players like Wyke, who imo has a worse touch than Kimpioka with his feet anyway. He gives effort and I can't fault him for that but his ability around the box hasn't been erratic it's been terrible.

We scored as many with Maja as without him. We would have comfortably made the play offs. As already said, if he'd came on instead of McGeady with the same outcome this place would have melted through the floor.

The club was fucked by players like this
Actually, we scored more with Maja in the League than without him. 1.84 per game with and 1.50 without.

If we had scored 1.84 in the remainder of the season after Maja left that would have given us 8 more goals. Conceivably that would convert to 8 more points - 93 in total and clear second place.

All about opinions mate and I hope I’m proved wrong but I don’t see anything that suggests he’ll make it

I think he has potential and you could argue he should play more, but he's looked miles away in the few games he's played in the league.
