Why don’t the 14 clubs in the top flight...

They do. That’s why all premier league clubs make profits.

Yet you seem to think that this has nothing to do with the fact that City Liverpool and the like are in that division which is just ludicrous.
So the too six leave, sky pull out and BBC take up rights for 80% less. All clubs left pay 80% less wages and still make a profit. Arm chair fans win by now getting it for free.

Atletico Madrid are 8 points ahead of Real by the way.
Yeah buts it’s been a season of transition for Madrid, compounded by 2 bad managerial appointments.

They’ll rebuild in the summer and go back to their place at the very top.

And until this season Real had won 4 out of the last 5 Champions Leagues ;)

Why does everyone want to max out the tv revenue etc?

Where does the money actually go? To the players? Agents? Brilliant. Paul Pogba needs more money to spend on shoes for sure.

Just think that Alexis Sanchez earns as much in a month as the entire budget of some L1 and L2 clubs.

Why would I want to do that? I spend my weekend watching Sunderland and don't really bother watching much else.
Im the same, ideally I want to see Sunderland win too. I'm not bothered about the elite 1% of players unless they are playing for us.

Some on this thread seem to want the elite players in England even if it means Sunderland probably won't win anything. Ever. I'm personally astounded.

Being honest the only thing letting this season down is the tactics deployed by the manager on occasions. The other play off between Charlton and Donny was riveting stuff. I'd have no issues whatsoever going between two competitive leagues where at the start of each season maybe 10 clubs could realistically aim for top spot. OK, we lose the glamour players but for me the Championship has proved this season that there's definitely a life beyond the PL as it exists today. Personally I'm genuinely indifferent about getting there again.
I agree marra. It's not like there would be a shortage of players. I still think I'd like some glamour though and it not just to play second fiddle.

We couldn’t even beat Portsmouth in a cup final. I think worrying about Liverpool and City being two of the best teams in Europe is a little premature ffs

You could still get some very good players. We've had some decent ones when being in the championship before. It would still need some sort of exposure though.

Who are there to just be cannon fodder for the “big six” demand change? If they refuse tell them to fuck off and play each other every week.

I’m sick of how boring football is.
I think you might have got a better reception off some on here if you used predictable rather than boring. Although when things are predictable it does get boring.

If the top six buggered off to some European league that's fine with me. We'll see how interested their supporters are in it having to shell out hundreds every other weekend to watch away games. Of course with whatever replaces them is just as likely to become another league dominated by the richest clubs.

If they do ever piss off, no FA cup or League cup entry and no starting a second string for them.

I never said that. I go to games in person, there can be zero games on television for all I care.
That's not really how it works though. There are hundreds of millions all over the world contributing billions. I enjoy watching NFL and NHL and pay to do so. The way they distribute the money if far fairer than we do here. Obvious reasons how they can and we can't but its not the income that's the problem. It's how it's distributed and to who.

How? Isn't FFS meant to change it all, and what's been boring? The Premier league this season has been tremendous, the top 2 were split by 1 point, add to that the Champions League, the last couple of weeks have been absolutely enthralling, if you think it's boring pal then I suggest you try a different sport:lol::lol:

The league was exciting as in going to the last day.

But FFP is the biggest load of shite and is going to keep the top clubs pretty much untouchable. The gap will grow
