We've got no issue with Derby or Villa. I can't imagine their been much of a problem tbh.

There was bother at derby a couple of times. my daughter phoned me once to ask "dad is that your picture on the front page of the echo?"

Cabbage junior is a met officer and it's likely he'll be on duty covering the square as he is level 2 trained (full riot gear etc). The Met only go in to stop aggro or prevent injury so they are quite happy for us to enjoy ourselves as it makes their lives easier. H'll probably end up all shift sleeping in the van as local pcs will do the main policing

There were loads of kids there last time, loving it. The atmosphere was building really early on so even if you just took them for a bit, and then see how it goes before deciding the right time to leave, I’m sure they’d always remember it.

They were superb last time

I think its genuinely because they enjoy a day of a bit on banter and drunkeness with little to no actual trouble. The met police do a good job on the whole in a difficult changing city so a few pissed up footy lads are no problem to them
