I think it worked better her literally just snapping instead of a slow demise into madness. She tried to be good but in the end it was about revenge, fire and blood.

Is it not cos varyss was having martha poison her to make her go full targarean to try to put jon on the throne?

I think varyss had martha poison dany to send her bonkers, jon will do in dany (by varyss' design) then fuck off north (or just a bit of set will fall on his head after 7 years build up) and blacksmith baratheon will be king

Jon will surely bite the bullet next week. He doesn’t want the throne as he has nearly cried when asked 4000 times.

His only way out of it is to get killed whilst doing some selfless :rolleyes: act.

I had no real problem with the episode. Too many fans of this show think they own in. Just enjoy what it is, it’s not on your side though. Just take in what’s happening and go with it ffs.

I think he was trying to kill her and as such Jon would become king.
 
Just watched the behind the scenes. The work they put in to this is astonishing.

Must cost millions to make 1 episode. They pretty much built kings landing in a lot in Belfast for this one episode.
 
I'm sure it's been addressed,but the bells were ringing as the army surrendered. Once they did that,it didn't matter what Cersei wanted or didn't want.

I'm sure everybody in Kings Landing knew what the bells meant , the repeated lines by Tyrion were (for the audience and) for the people who weren't from Kings Landing....
