Game of Thrones season 8

I think she wanted to 'show off' and show Cersei why she should have surrendered instead of killing Missandei. It was her saying 'look what you've caused, this is all your fault' before Cersei inevitably died.
Would make slight sense, except cersei only cares about herself which everyone seems to know. Guess it was meant to be showing off

I could have got behind Dany becoming the mad queen and I feel I would have enjoyed this episode, had they had any exposition over the last 2 seasons and built it up as a will she, won't she moment. But to have her basically change to a villain in one episode because her mate got killed is ridiculous, feel like an entire waste of 8 years of character development. The writers were offered a ten episode season, why did they turn it down. Will anyone go back and rewatch GOT now after knowing what Dany becomes, seems a bit pointless.. Also Euron wouldn't look out of place in Eastenders, could just see the theme music starting after that hilarious "I killed Jamie Lanister" line.

Fair does from what the youtuber was saying he was like an even more evil Ramsey when in the show he's some cartoon villain who ends up being killed by a man with one arm.

I'll give it a watch later. From what I remember though most of his stuff is stories about him. He is ruthless bastard though. He even shags his brothers bird iirc.

I enjoyed the episode. The burning of the Iron Fleet was perhaps more predictable, she had learned from previous encounters and launched her attack with the sun to her back and weaved in between them at a lower level. She also took on the scorpions on the walls more laterally and then blew open the main gates from inside which effectively took out the Golden Company. The Dothraki cavalry led the charge into the city which makes sense with the Unsullied infantry behind them. Then it got a bit complicated. Who really sounded the bells? Cersei didn't appear to. Maybe Dany felt she needed to take out the Lannister Army completely to prevent it reforming behind Cersei somewhere else. End it once and for all. Cersei could have escaped earlier in the battle but in her stubbornness delayed too long.

I reckon Danys turning mad has been on the cards a while now. Definetly since the truth about Jon came out.
Remember she's quite fond of setting people on fire. Takes someone's army, sets them on fire. Take a knee? Nah! Burn.

My suspension of disbelief was all maxed out from the first minute when Varys the genius spymaster wrote an unencrypted letter and was grassed up by Tyrion, genius turned wide eyed fool, because reasons.

Its awful writing man isnt it. He fuckin shipped him out of kings landing after he murdered his dad on the shitter and thats the thanks he gets?:lol:

I thought the white horse and the riding away was a symbol Arya was dead?
And although Dany has been slowly going mad, I couldn’t help but think when she heard the bell, it was a big up yours to Tyrion too who she knows wanted the retreat, but has betrayed her?
Also...I cried when the hound realised the only way to kill his brother was to also kill himself and plunge over the edge. I’m pathetic!

Either way, what do I know? I’m one of the simple fuckers who just watches and enjoys it regardless.

Could be, however I think there’s still a chance Ayra ends up on the throne with Gendry. If Dany gets killed and Jon doesn’t want the throne, Gendry could have a case to be king being the son of Robert Baratheon.
