The club are lucky to get anywhere near 25k given how terrible they have been this season. Checkatrade finals don’t cut it. 5th in league one is a disgrace. To expect the fans to turn up in droves once again is laughable. Clappers seem to think everyone is like them.

There were tens of thousands of SAFC fans there who will disagree with you.

For all the 'clappers' on here, there's people like you who can't wait to piss on the club they support.

:oops::rolleyes::lol: clappers.

You were implying we hardly had a squad and were playing catch up, well all of the above were there and most of our signings were made before the first league game.
This myth that we didn't have a squad in the summer is exactly that a myth.
McLaughlin
O'Nien
James
Baldwin
Flanagan
Leadbitter
Power
McGeouch
Maguire
Morgan
Wyke

There's a starting X1 that could easily start one of these upcoming games, 11 new players there. Of course we had no squad.

Just been over there was ticking over not as busy as I thought it might of been. Two people before me one was after Pompey away and one after season cards both told not on sale.

If people are choosing not to go because they have the lip on, then probably best they don't. No one can force them or guilt them, people have a choice. My choice is to support my team as they're in the play offs and as it stands, a chance of being promoted. If someone else chooses not to, then nowt I can do about it. I don't agree with them, but there ya gan.

I am far from impressed with the performance of the team and final league position. I think the manager specifically has underperformed. However, it's time to get behind the team and try and get them over the line. I have been critical, as I think it's been well deserved however, now is not the time to turn your back.

Get to the game. Full inquest if we don't succeed in the playoffs.

Absolutely spot on. Unreal how many want to judge the season before it’s actually finished.
If all goes to plan, it’ll be one of the greatest ends to a season ever.

I also think people are panicking a bit more than normal. There will be a lot more “on-the-day” purchasers than normal because people know there’s tickets available, will be in the town on the drink being a Saturday and just stroll over the ground throughout the day to buy a ticket.

I’d love to be at the game but cannot. Plans made months ago taking me out of the country stopping me. I’d say quite a few in the same boat. Throw in that it’s a Saturday night, televised game and you’ve a further reduction there. There’s no doubt that recent results have maybe taken a bit of a toll on some peoples interest and motivation but I think it’s being overstated. All being said, regardless of how many are in the ground I think it’s better to have 26000 making a noise and getting behind the lads from the off, than 35000 sitting on their hands and whinging over every pass.

Out of interest why didn’t you buy on line? It’s so much easier and I’m certainly not internet savvy
There were a lot of people on here saying they had trouble trying to buy online. I didn't have any bother but the SLOs were asking folk to get in touch via email, which would suggest plenty did.
