Stopped reading at "we didn't have enough first team players for a 5 a side"

Gooch
Honeyman
Cattermole
Oviedo
Mathews
Watmore
Maja
Mcgeady
Hume
Kimpioka
Robson etc,etc.....

All have featured this season.
Watmore was injured, Oviedo was on extended leave due to having been in Russia for World Cup, Maja Hume and Kimpioka we’re certainly not considered as first team squad players when they returned for preseason training, I’ve never heard of etc etc when did we sign him?

You were implying we hardly had a squad and were playing catch up, well all of the above were there and most of our signings were made before the first league game.
This myth that we didn't have a squad in the summer is exactly that a myth.

Playing a game at 19.30 on a Saturday night is a load of bollocks regardless of the fact its a play off. Nowt the club can do about it though as Sky rule the roost and couldnt give a toss about the supporters, all they care about is how many people will tune in to watch. Nothing the owners can say or do will improve the attendance, for any event to attract a big audience the event itself has to be attractive to the public and to be blunt watching us lately is soul destroying and has been for years. I tip my hat to the owners for having a go but all the early promise from the manager to play exciting football has quite frankly proven to be a load of crap. We dont deserve to go up and in my opinion wont go up, a lot of people are obviously thinking like me hence the poor ticket sales. I will be going out of blind loyalty but I would not criticize anybody who chooses not to go as there are so many reasons not to. This time last year I had my fill and said I would never go back, I have said it that many times over the years that our lass just rolls her eyes. Watching Sunderland saps the life out you at times but when we somehow pull something out of the bag it makes it all worth while, thats what I am holding onto at the moment sod the attendance.

If you say so

If we go up via the play offs it will be fully deserved.

I think they should've made it mandatory to attend at least one play off game (if you're not a ST holder) in order to go to Wembley should we get there. Simply the biggest game of our season and everyone's turning their back and walking away, no doubt will come crawling back if we win over two legs...

The club are lucky to get anywhere near 25k given how terrible they have been this season. Checkatrade finals don’t cut it. 5th in league one is a disgrace. To expect the fans to turn up in droves once again is laughable. Clappers seem to think everyone is like them.

Fuck off with the clappers shite man. I'm far from a 'clapper' and I'll be there. You dont want to go, that's fine.

I am far from impressed with the performance of the team and final league position. I think the manager specifically has underperformed. However, it's time to get behind the team and try and get them over the line. I have been critical, as I think it's been well deserved however, now is not the time to turn your back.

Get to the game. Full inquest if we don't succeed in the playoffs.

The one you can't throw at these lads is a lack of effort. Yes we've all been disappointed with the quality but if the efforts there you cant be overly harsh. I think the players deserve backing for this game.

That's a very good point actually and something I hadn't thought about, nothing is actually decided this Saturday.

I think if we can play like we did the other week or wembley first half the tie can be decided tomorrow.

I know spurs/liverpool done it etc but id be very confident if we somehow managed a 2 or 3 nil.
