I like Barney's uptown as well, if you ask where Barney's coffee shop is, it's directly over the road.

Susie's Saloon [Susies Saloon] on Oudezijds Voorburgwal - its a bar not a knocking shop... highly recommend the place, especially if the weather is nice to sit outside on the canal side and drink the day away...

Going to the dam on Friday on a stag and someone has said a lot of places don't accept cash anymore, only card?

Is this true or are they talking shite?

Nearly all places still take cash. There’s definitely one supermarket that we used last time I was over a few months ago and the odd shop that were card only. Hope this helps.
