Not at all, most clubs have been decent this season imo with the usual small minority of arseholes when they’re up here

Pompey & Coventry are the exception, more than a minority determined to cause bother and quite happy to target normal fans and families - thats why fans are pissed off with them

No its just been Coventry and Portsmouth. Can't remember anyone saying anything about any other sets of fans tbh. Even the mags didn't have a thread about them like Coventry and Portsmouth.

Portsmouth and Coventry both threw things down into us so people are quite justified in being unhappy about it. None have just made it up.

Fwiw I was at Coventry away when their fans threw bricks at us and was in the North stand when they were throwing alsorts at us.

I was at Wembley and drank with a few of their fans prior and personally saw no bother except the kick off on Wembley way, but others did. I was there yesterday when a smoke bomb was thrown into us.

I've been to other aways this season and opposing fans have been fine, and I'm a ST holder and no other set of fans have thrown anything at us.

Seemingly keeps happening against these two though. Nobody is making anything up for no reason.

Look, i'm not saying that certain things that have happened are right or acceptable - i'm saying that surely you cant expect people to believe that no bother whatsoever gets caused by any of your supporters.
And, (i'm not saying this excuses any 'yobbish behaviour btw), you don't help yourselves with this 'We're Sunderland and you lot are all tinpot' attitude).
Obviously that's not coming from all of your support, but things like that do tend to put people off-side and 'stir up' any hooligan element

We have the biggest % of female season ticket holders and a family club these days. The visiting lot are mainly young lads up for a scrap. Chalk and cheese. Sadly they are happy to target our lot still, even though they're not the type.

We've won the league a couple of times since the war (and not the Boer war) and also won the F.A cup a couple of times, so not too bad for a Mickey Mouse outfit.

It is as there are plenty out and about who are happy to oblige them if they wanted a proper off. Whether it be normal blokes in the Wheatsheaf or outside the Hilton; Dutch lads as Coventry found; or our own lads who were out and about for Shrewsbury, Coventry and Portsmouth.

I don’t need to try and be hard and edgy, I am fuckin hard. I would call someone who threatens to “wire someone jaw” on here trying to be hard and edgy , yes that happened to me, shame he failed to back up his threat and had to put me on ignore.

I’m far from fuming mate, I’m just heading to play a round of golf, maybe fuming during that bastard though! I struggle to get angry over people on a forum who type words.

That's not how you come across though, you do seem a real Mr Angry, swearing and ranting at people who are being quite civil. Do you carry on like that at work, or just online?

All this stuff about Netflix is sheer jealousy from every single fan that sings about it. Sheer and utter jealousy.

At the SoL this year it’s been a game of bingo as to how quick the away end sing about Netflix or Adam Johnson.

I don’t care what anyone says - this season, nearly every single away following has had a massive chip on their shoulder about playing us. They’ve nearly all sang about Sunderland more than supporting their own team.
