He's been shit for the last few months TBF, pulled out of the last tournament for unspecified reasons. Pity cause he had been playing really well earlier in the season.

Him and a mate sat behind me and my other half at the Scottish Open in December and he was a right prick. Nothing really specific, just his manner and the fact they spent a good half hour just slagging people off.

People don't really tend to count records from that era. He was impressive of course, but it's hardly comparable to modern snooker.
