Pickford

First incident was in Beggars Bridge in Boldon, I can think of better bars for England's goalie to be drinking in tbh.

So then the video jumps to a fight in Sunderland city centre, miles away? I'm guessing there's a little more to this than what we've seen.

To play devils advocate were people not delighting in our fans antagonising Shearer on a plane but condemning mags for antagonising Pickford?

Can’t have it all ways surely.
Not like you to take the opposing view J. Just for balance of course

Aye it's grim. See also rivalry all of a sudden being described as 'obsession' (on both sides) was never like that years ago. You'd take the piss out of the mags you knew, they took the piss back. Sometimes it went too far, but never described as being obsessed. I honestly believe the absolute desperation for one upmanship or the moral high ground has taken away some enjoyment of supporting the club for some people.
The invention of social media and being able to froth at the bit all day trying to wind up rival fans as much as possible by saying horribly aggressive and pathetic stuff that you would never ever say in 'real life' is the main cause of it (Imo like)

But shouting in someone’s face on a plane is classy?

Why can’t sunderland fans just let Shearer enjoy his day due to the result and let him travel home in peace?
It's been confirmed by several on the plane that it was a cheerful song song from a few rows back. Shearer would have probably found it funny tbh

What happened? If that's true then equally as bad
2 similar incidents. Shearers gets grief on a plane, laughs it off and gets on with his life

Someone calls Pickford butterfingers and he decides to fight them like a child

Probably, as should Pickford for getting called butterfingers after his recent visit to St James’

If you think pickford started a fight with someone as they called him butterfingers you're f***ing mental.

Some absolute crap being spouted on here like. No mags involed, nobody insulted his child or his Fiance at all. Not one single true account of what's gone on in this whole thread. Saying nowt more though or I'll get banned haha.
The lad who took the video is from Boldon and seems to be a mag in his twitter like so looks like you’re talking utter shite lad

Why? He threw a wobbler about a month ago offering people out for fights and he was in his place of work. Seems a bit of a manchild tbh.

The fact you've put 'place of work' doesn't qualify a football pitch with 50,000 in as a usual working environment, good try though.

Charvers on a night out often end up fighting. He isn't going to change who he is just because he earns a lot of money. He will always be an idiot.
