Travelling by Car to Wembley

I bet if if was anyone else you would be inundating them with help and advice instead of this shit.

Mods, please delete this thread.

5 to 6 hours fella including stops and no traffic problems, just don't sweat it. Done it home to Sunderland in 4.5 hours and I am in Hampshire.

But remember might take you a while if you intend parking at Wembley, will be plenty of traffic on the roads from both South and North

To those who are driving down what are everyone's plans (when do you plan on leaving etc) and how do you intend to manage fuel consumption? The last bit I know may sound daft but it is important. I don't want to run out just short of Newport Pagnell.

I am driving down and so far my only plan is to (stupid and perhaps desperate I know) use a coach as a sort of pacemaker. If I keep track of it I know I will get to Wembley in time. I have no idea what time I should be leaving or how many fuel stops I need.
You'll probably end up in Glasgow!

Thanks. Good to see not all SMBers are no-hopers. Good advice. Have a like.

Leaving at 6 am Sunday .

Full tank of fuel.

One planned stop, as many piss stops as required.

No intention of using a coach as a pacemaker as they're slow as fuck and shit at setting any kind of pace, plus I've been on enough away coaches to know they regularly break down and are often late.

Now stop being a fanny, fire up the sat nav, leave early, get the tunes on and have a laugh on the way down .

I’m going in a Dakar kitted our land cruiser with extra provisions pulling a trailor full of fuel in case there’s no petrol stations open on the A1.

We are actually driving. Feel sorry for the driver coming straight back after the match after I’ve raided the bar. Driving down on Saturday, staying in the hotel car park, then Sunday morning driving close to Wembley and have a car park booked there
