Must admit, I always associated Seaham with being a Lads stronghold. Would never have thought of it being a 'Mag' breeding ground:eek:

That’s because it isn’t and is and always will be a Sunderland stronghold. Seaham front is a nice place these days so you’ll get plenty out of towners from further in land heading over to spend a few hours by the coast, so some of the very few mags you do spot occasionally probably fall into this bracket.

It is a cracking Front mate. Same can be said of Whitburn, I suppose.

Born in Torquay, although I used to go and watch Exeter City (due to where I went to school).

Been a lads fan since moving to NE in the mid-90s (for a lass). Her parents were both from Sunderland so all the family were all lads fans. First match was a mid week defeat against Southampton at Roker Park and I've never looked back :)

Born in Hylton Castle and lived most of my life in Ashbrooke.

Season ticket holder for many years at Roker Park and at the SOL.

Moved to Phuket, Thailand 15 years ago and still listen to or watch every game.

Coming back for a holiday soon, will go to Doncaster and Portsmouth games.
Cool, why did you move? Was there last year it’s beautiful

That’s another thing the Newcastle mafia took away.... a Sunderland persons birth right of being from County Durham, turning it from a proud independent town into a secondary dependant town through lack of inward investment.
So the Newcastle mafia were responsible for the County boundary changes .....this takes magedia paranoia to new extremes

Does it matter if you are from Sunderland or not ? I live in Sunderland , support Sunderland and have a season ticket but I am not from Sunderland. Does that make me a mag cockney Manc etc ? Certain people on here obviously think to be one of us requires you to speak a certain way !!? BOLLOX !
Just saying .
Not from Sundeland, never lived in Sunderland nor have any of my family.
Lived most of my life in North Tyneside after growing up in Edinburgh
I don't think it matters where you are born, or where you live if you have the family ties with the club.
My Grandpa (born in Jarrow) started it off in the 1930s, then my Dad (born in Chester) carried it on with his siblings until I came along (born in Edinburgh) and passed the torch to my son (born in Newcastle)

Not one of us from Sunderland, not one of us any less passionate about this club of ours
