Does it matter if you are from Sunderland or not ? I live in Sunderland , support Sunderland and have a season ticket but I am not from Sunderland. Does that make me a mag cockney Manc etc ? Certain people on here obviously think to be one of us requires you to speak a certain way !!? BOLLOX !
Just saying .

Born in Easington, grew up in Roker then out to Fencehouses.... Moved to London in 2001 before moving to NJ in 2001.

Born in Jarra Co Durham, brought up in Hebburn. Left in 76 to join the RAF and ended up here in Swindon after my 30 year stint. My kids were born in Peterborough and Stamford and both brought up as SAFC fans. My grandkids were all born here in Swindon with my son carrying on the good work in bringing them up proper as MLFs.

Born in Fulwell a stones throw from Roker Park then moved to Roker near the other Roker park before heading of to Middlesbrough / Guisborough / Yarm from 1990 til 2001. Moved to Taiwan in 2001, China in 2003, back to the UK for 1 year in 2005, moved Singapore in 2006 then finally to China in 2008 and been here ever since.

I posted earlier in this thread about my Seaham Harbour upbringing (sorry, I know that officially 'Harbour' has been long-since dropped, but it will always be that for me) and it would pain me if the Mags had a serious foothold in my old home town. The odd barcode is bad enough, which is what you seem to be suggesting, and I know there was infiltration when we were swimming against the John Hall-Special K tide.
Give it to me straight...is it the odd instance now - or a serious infestation?

Shop in seaham most Saturdays, see maybe 1 barcode every 2 or 3 visits.
Was a very loud one on the table next to us last Sat, so hopefully none this week.

I’ve lived in Seaham about 5 years now and I can honestly say I’ve seen about 10 instances of people in mag shirts/gear in that time.

That equates to 2 per year marra...more than enough more me:evil: It usually happens on a weekend when they have won of course and in Asda when they are obviously buying their champagne. Seaham is very metropolitan now of course;)

Must admit, I always associated Seaham with being a Lads stronghold. Would never have thought of it being a 'Mag' breeding ground:eek:
