whatever happened to Peter Kenyon tying up the loose ends on his takeover, and being 'closer than any other interested party to taking over' the mags

never anywhere near. Ashleys starting price was 400 million, which Stavely got down to 300 , with MA still vaguely interested. it was when she then started talking about 250 mill on the never-never that she got her arse kicked out the door.

According to Wiki (I Know) the mags were valued at -
£349m in 2015
£383 in 2016

In 2017 they dropped out the top 20 where Leicester were valued at£413m and £500m for 2018.
Taking into cosideration the new T.V deal and being a well run club £400 - £450m sounds about right to me.

I'm not asking for exact figures just people's opinions.

If people are prepared to say Ashley isn't giving Benitez enough money they obviously have an opinion of how much he should be given.

They can never answer the question so what are they trying to prove on here

The new TV deal? Wasn't much more (if more at all) than the old one, was it? Well run club how? By doubling the debt and repeating "financially stable"? By getting relegated twice? By not being able to compete in the transfer market? Which element is well run?

Irrespective of the figures he should be given a budget and allowed to spend it. Then any fees received for outgoing players should supplement this budget. Even the Almiron transfer ended up in a game of brinksmanship. Benitez had wanted him for a year. Instead they got into a stand off and in that year they paid loan fees for Kenedy twice, which probably exceeded the saving they made in their stand off with Atlanta. False economy

no ,MA thinks they're worth 400 million. I think they're worth catarse, cos all you're getting is the squad & the name, they don't own anything else (stadium/academy/facilities) oh, and hoy in the overdraft now they've signed that new kid with a bank loan.
