Think it's more the fact Carr had untold millions in fee's and wages to invest on the top talent throughout Europe while poor old Rafa has had to look in the bargain basement of the French Lea.......oh wait.

They talk about Benitez as if he’s had nowt whilst Seemingly ignoring that Pardew had next to nowt to spend either yet managed to finish 5th and get to 1/4s of UEFA Cup.

They can’t abd wont give Pardew any credit whilst defending Benitez with their lives. It’s really bizarre.

Just look at the time they finished 10th with Pardew, mass hysteria, mass protests, not good enough.

10th with Benitez. World class.

Remember Pardew was just Ashleys yes man while Rafa is the leader of the Geordeie nation battling the evil empire of Mr Ashley.

Benitez seems to have the knack of turning potential internationals into no hopers ...

... some are no longer even guaranteed a starting place in a team fighting another relegation.

But I keep reading how Rafa is world class and players thrive under him with his world class coaching methods.
I mean we've all seen how much Murphy, Muto, Manquillo, Joselu etc, etc have improved their game under Rafa's world class tutelage.

Exactly .. Take Papis Cisse for example....hardly world class as he career has clearly shown but for a couple of seasons Pardew got the absolute best out of him....he even made Steven Taylor look almost decent !!!
