Out of sorts on the day.
Comfortable home win on Monday.

It’s a shame you didn’t see this out of sorts performance coming at the time and stick your neck out then and predict how much Rafa would outwit Guardiola.

Good of you to say that we’re a better team than Man City earlier though. And on a fraction of the budget, too.

I don’t agree like, but fair play anyway.

If you look at the 'NET SPEND, MAN', we sold Wijnaldum for £25m and barely saw £2m of it as well.

Got them promoted and kept them up. Not sure what more could be expected of him to be honest. I think they were (and are) probably going down however they should have stuck with him like Burnley did with Dyce. Come back up and continue on the same path.

We will not lose tomorrow.
I’ve just burst out laughing

Will the mags be playing that little boy they’ve signed on Monday night?

We honestly don't care lad

As i mentioned yesterday on another thread i have SAFC, MFC & NUFC in a draw treble so am hoping for a very dull & uneventful 0-0.
I will however be having a saver bet on away win.
Even when you're typing on a keyboard, on a Sunderland forum, you still sounds like a mag. Stop.

You seem to be switching your argument around a bit now.
I'm not sure what your point is.

You asked about how he had done without the figures from sales from previous managers' signings, which I answered.
He has spent, (and it is in euros on transfermarkt) €142m.
But if you are having a go at him for that, then its only been allowed because of sales, which total €163m.

The total €4m outlay is from his own signings who have now departed. Made a small loss on Daryl Murphy, Grant Hanley and Matz Sels. Made profit on Merino, broke even on others As I said, the rest are still at the club.

If you have a point you're trying to get to I'll try and assist you in reaching it. But it just seems to be that Benitez has spent money and something about net spend.
Is his point not "You all think Benitez is untouchable, despite him spending loads of money and not getting you to comfortable safety already."?
Which, on the surface, ignoring the broader picture and without any further consideration, may make sense on here.

The Mags are definitely staying up unfortunately, Cardiff's run-in is horrendous whilst the Mags have it relatively easy.

I'd agree. Newcastle have one horror match left, plenty of mid-table sides already on holiday and three games against relegation rivals. Cardiff have four horror games, three games against relegation rivals and just the four matches against sides already on the beach.
