So you wanted him out and wrote a letter?

Maybe not to the extreme of sackpardew.com even though he got you 5th that season.

Still wanted him out yet give Rafa the bonus of the net spend bollocks due to the previous "regimes" signings

So any time fans think a manager should be sacked it counts as hounding out? That's ridiculous.

What would Rafas been if he didn't sell the players McLaren bought?

Well considering he arrived in march, with no previous spending, we can only look at players who he has bought and then sold since he's been at the club.

Give me 5 minutes and I'll try and find that out

Rafas sackless

Yet he's done far worse, got no players with sell on value. Yet they all still pipe him off.

Surely you should know that off the top of your head. The fact you need to search for it proves my point.

Not really. Why should I instantly be able to tot up the total figures paid in transfers by a particular manager, and the fees received?
Can you do it instantly for all sunderland managers?

No but I don't pipe them off and begrudge the owner when it's clear as day he invested when you went down.

If you bang on a about net spend surely you've got something to back it up?

Ok, so using Transfermarkt figures in the Benitez era, Newcastle has spent €142m.
They have received €163m in fees.

But as you said benitez can't take credit for the sale of other people's signings, so the ones he has bought and then sold sincd he's been there have meant a total outlay of €4m. The rest of his signings are still at the club.

How much has he spent in total then?

142m not fuck all is it?

Considering the net spend you give him a pass for was due to the previous manager who you wrote a letter about to get him sacked?

Say Rafa gets sacked, wonder how many of his signings would help the next 'Gaffa''with your net spend argument

Anyhow I'll leave you to google, long may Rafa stay!

You seem to be switching your argument around a bit now.
I'm not sure what your point is.

You asked about how he had done without the figures from sales from previous managers' signings, which I answered.
He has spent, (and it is in euros on transfermarkt) €142m.
But if you are having a go at him for that, then its only been allowed because of sales, which total €163m.

The total €4m outlay is from his own signings who have now departed. Made a small loss on Daryl Murphy, Grant Hanley and Matz Sels. Made profit on Merino, broke even on others As I said, the rest are still at the club.

If you have a point you're trying to get to I'll try and assist you in reaching it. But it just seems to be that Benitez has spent money and something about net spend.

They are oncourse to break the record for the lowest goals scored in a premier league season. The new bloke hasn’t done any better but he’s hard hard games to start.

Got them promoted and kept them up. Not sure what more could be expected of him to be honest. I think they were (and are) probably going down however they should have stuck with him like Burnley did with Dyce. Come back up and continue on the same path.

Dropping like a brick
Teams around like Cardiff & Burnley have form
Mags are in free fall again

We will not lose tomorrow.

V Wolves

You'll get mullered

Why couldn't sky have Palace v West Ham as the Monday night game rather than making Poocastle go to wolves

Means some people having two days off graft

Totally agree on the game selection however we know those making decisions simply do not care about supporters.

We will bore them to death.

0-1

Even Tarore who I think is all wind & shite will score tomorrow
Unlike an out of sorts City, Wolves will rip into them for 90 minutes. Even with eleven behind the ball again, I can see them shipping goals. Much easier to defend backs to the wall Benitez style against the tippy tappy teams than the uber direct.
Wolves 3-0 Newcastle

Is this the Man City that had won eight straight games before they lost to us?

Won both their games since that too.

10 wins out of 11. ‘Out of sorts’

I already know what you’re going to focus on with your response, btw.

Comfortable home win on Monday.
