I'd just wish they'd say we aint planning on spending, we are selling players to pay off debts. As it what is happening. Which is fine if that is what you wanna do, but don't try and PR spin it.

I never said anything about that, you've missed my point

They said they had it covered, then put out a statement via RR saying we don't get a fee, so that is not "having it covered" thats selling a player to settle a debt

I am not on about Maja, it could have been any player, Matthews or anyone. Don't twist my point please.

They are keeping some of it as we owe then money for July. It won't affect are ability to do deals over the next few days. Just means we have fewer legacy payments to make in July now but we did have those covered anyway.

It can only be dampening expectations that we would spend money on Grigg and then spend the Maja money on someone else

It is covered but selling him to them has basically just paid that bit early. The money that would have been used to pay that fee in July is now freed up.

What's not to understand? Take a breath and think about it. You're jumping from post to post missing the obvious.

Yeah that's the thing as some of these won't make the grade to push on next year and can't panic but now cost a fortune and not make the grade in the champ I'd be happy with 2 loan strikers and asses come the summer

Tricky one in terms of incomings, need to get out of this league but how many that can make the step up to championship will join at this stage? If we could get Grigg and a good loan striker in Id be happy, it'd save some money for a good champ level striker in summer if we go up

Debatable if Sunderland will get the playoffs now given how shit Charlie Wyke is. He’ll 100% be doing better.

8 mill for khazri, 5 for McNair, 2.5 for Asoro. Legacy payment for PVA. Seems to be a black hole at SAFC!
