I think we’ll sign Will Grigg before the window shuts which would be a very good signing imo.

We'll still be weaker than before the window like mate.

I dunno, its clear very few people agree with me, its just not quite what I was expecting. I have just a feeling of the way its going.

You’ve nailed it. From what I was told the plan is to get him a decent PL move in a few year as his agent does not believe he’s good enough to make that move yet.
He might have a four and a half year contract but no way will he see that through. The lads 20 and us onto his fourth club already. Seems like he suffers from itchy feet poor lad.

Its a f***ing class move like, and it shows he hasn't gone for the money, sure he could have got more in England.

Lifestyle will be a draw, it’s surely not about football as he could’ve stayed here, scored 30 goals, become a championship player and played in a final at Wembley not to mention get himself up there as a fan favourite and lift £250k a year minimum.

Just seen this on Twitter.

Didn’t SD say on RR that we owed no transfer dealings apart NDong and the Alvarez dealings.

But RR reporting it’s paying a debt to Bordeaux.

Strange.

I said this other day, I know his agent maybe did a few distasteful things (thats agents for you) but he is actually doing really good things for British players, that is 4 of his stable now out in top flight European leagues, all young British players, he wants them playing top flight football basically and thinks the quickest way that will happen is with going abroad.

The roker report statement is a bit strange like.
I dunno. We are in negotiations to sign players so the club could just be playing a bit of gamesmanship here. Saying they haven’t come into any money to boost their transfer kitty.

I can’t see how that’s true they surely would have got a better deal in the summer when he was out of contract. I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t the club who wanted to sell him in this window.

Can't see that. The club made every effort to keep him. No,I think his agent has persuaded him to cash in whilst he has the chance. Big risk for his career I think, particularly when, although I do like the lad and he is a natural finisher, there isn't much else to his game at the minute and....if the goals dry up,which they often do in strikers at various times,he could have made a big mistake.
If I'd been advising him I'd want him to stay where he is,sign a new deal with a release clause, look to get promoted as the league top scorer and give it a season or two in the Championship hoping for lots more goals at that higher level. Then, still a young player, see where we are and who comes calling. If all goes to plan,it'll be better than Bordeaux.

I do t think he said that I’m
Pretty sure he did say they were covering the legacy transfer fees though.
The fees we have brought in never seem to get a mention.

He hasn't "cashed in" at all, its a fantastic move for him, I must be missing something here.
