Bordeaux manager seems to think he might struggle with the physical nature of the French league. How he develops in the game will be determined by his ability to adapt to physical challenges and if he’s prepared to graft more during games.
He’s an excellent finisher, although not proven beyond the third tier of English football, it remains to be seen whether he’ll be as effective against better defenders and goalkeepers.
It will be really interesting to see how he gets on - I genuinely hope he succeeds but I can’t help thinking he’ll be back in English football in a couple of years with a far healthier bank balance but without a great deal of first team experience to show for it.
I am convinced he will always score goals like, just don't think he will miss many chances, that will carry him far, he can pick up a lot of the stuff as he goes
I am very disappointed he is leaving but will follow his career with interest, hope he does well, respect him for going abroad. I know his agent is probably a bit of a dick, should have handled it better but if you look at his stable, he is trying to get his players abroad and playing, its good for young English players and good for the game IMO.
