It seems that Maja is off to Bordeaux for a decent fee , €4 mil reported . Has anyone heard of a sell on clause ? Hopefully it's a decent % as Maja will fill his boots in France for a season, and then he'll be back in the uk for £20 million plus.
A couple of baguettes, a piece of smelly blue cheese and a string of onions, I'd heard.

Doesn't make the list of 20 young players in League one and Championship to look out for, possibly because he's on the way out

Canny few full backs going strong atm. Fairly sure Max Aarons was in Lutons academy but behind afew there when they got to the nationals championship final. Was either him or Jamaal Lewis. Luton have also had Jay Da Silva and James Justin so they're a hotbed of full backs.

Maja is going to flop at his next club. There's going to be huge expectation on him and I don't think he will be able to handle it. He's been flavour of the month at SAFC after some important goals that he's scored by hanging around in front of goal. If he's not the only real striker at his new club he's going to burn not very brightly.

He's cocked up, in my senile opinion.

Just read that, their coach didn't sound to promising, didn't sound like he will be playing much
Aye I've just read it, Seems they know nothing about him other than he's scored goals. I don't think he will make it there or be given a chance to going off what the manager says.

That's his job and his conversion rate is frightening......Good luck to Jersh...

Now get it spent.....

Bordeaux manager seems to think he might struggle with the physical nature of the French league. How he develops in the game will be determined by his ability to adapt to physical challenges and if he’s prepared to graft more during games.

He’s an excellent finisher, although not proven beyond the third tier of English football, it remains to be seen whether he’ll be as effective against better defenders and goalkeepers.

It will be really interesting to see how he gets on - I genuinely hope he succeeds but I can’t help thinking he’ll be back in English football in a couple of years with a far healthier bank balance but without a great deal of first team experience to show for it.

it's a win win for him really.

Good luck to him for giving it ago abroad. worse happens he returns to UK as you say, with plenty of cash and pretty much a guaranteed next pay day with clubs who know he can score at this level
