The billionaire is getting into politics so will probably not be getting involved.

Out of his depth owning Sunderland. We may be in league one but we are far from a league one caliber club. Do you have no ambition? What businesses of his have had a higher turnover than Sunderland over the past 10 years?

Where is the transfer kitty that would be the envy of most championship clubs? Y
sunderlands turnover at the oper

we have a budget, which is the term he used, higher than many clubs in the division above..no way to ten clubs in the championship have a higher wage bill than us..
saFC TURNOVER IS £17 at the operating level this nyear...stewrat dud t get rich enough to spend £50m on various football clubs in the past few years if he hasnt had a £17m turnover buisness..
the billionaire is involved..he is a shareholder..

He's already said that him going for the President role won't affect his links with Sunderland.

steart didnt get rich enough to drop nearly £50m on football without having a buisness with a turnover of at least £17m..his car leasing firm, which is the biggest business he currently owns, has 10,000 cars..
he was i think an early investor (and small investor) in one of the price comparison sites, and thats where the money came from for bridle and car leasing and the property operation..and the property business he has...he is worth well more than £100m

It’s all very well blaming agents but ultimately it’s down to Maja himself to sign or not as was the case.
I’m not altogether sure of ins and outs or how Maja has conducted himself to be honest.
He has to look after number 1 and the club have to do the same.
There is zero loyalty in football other than from the fans.
I'm disappointed of course, but grateful that he hasn't gone to a current rival, or possible future rival.

Theres signs in Kimpionka that he could step in. Huge difference though, from limited outings is he dwells on chances where Maja often whacks first time.

Far better workrate and physcicality but not maybe a moocher.

Not investing enough into this club. We will probably lose out on automatic promotion and it's a 1 in four chance getting through the playoffs.

Where is this massive transfer kitty? Where is it?!

Looks like more of a wide forward to me at this point, like a young Bolasie. Not to say he can’t play centrally in the long run with a bit more game intelligence.

You do know we are in league one? Let's blow everything in the 1st few months

the idea that someone with £50m to fuck away on football hasnt had a buisnes turning over at least that amount is obscene,,
we are losing money every day the doors of SAFC are open...are planning to lose money for years.
and are bidding millions for players despite being in a very good position in the league..

so how much are they investing? i know the answer, do you?

It seems that Maja is off to Bordeaux for a decent fee , €4 mil reported . Has anyone heard of a sell on clause ? Hopefully it's a decent % as Maja will fill his boots in France for a season, and then he'll be back in the uk for £20 million plus.
Turbo D been liking tweets about selling clauses so assume so

Donald's words apparently. A huge transfer kitty, yet to see it. Supporters have made the commitment and effort. Yet to see fuck all from them besides pot plant rental and stadium tours.

And don't bring up sorting finances, any company or owner that have bought someone out do the same.

other company owners charge the company to sort it out...quinny took a salary when he tiook over the business..stewart doesnt...in fact stewrat doesnt even charge the club expenses..every other club chairman does that

Agree with most of that, however there's looking after number one and there's being deceptive of which there is a suggestion - it's been reported he'd agreed to sign only for his agent to release a statement to Sky (!) the same day saying he would be leaving, iirc. That's poor, even if only in terms of heeding daft advice from an avaricious agent.

no plan around maja exit? so the three bids for a striker proven at tgis level werent a plan?
they have the seocnd highest spend in thsi division..soon will be first..

This budget was supposed to be the envy of most championship clubs...yet to see anything.
it is..we have a higher budget than most championship teams..they arent running our wage bill..if you want to see it look at a sunderland game..when you will see players sitting on the bench earning far more than the average champo wage..stewart is paying for that..

:lol::lol: Second highest. We are Sunderland not Scunthorpe. We should be spending a fortune to ensure we exit this league.

FIFA and FM have a lot to answer for for attitudes like this.

It's not as simple as just buying players for a load of money, pissing this league, hemorrhage money, demand new owners, rinse and repeat ffs.

The owners have been up front about making the club sustainable, they put a squad together in the summer within budgetary constraints (EFL as well as their own) have gone a long way to trying to maximise revenue, reduce operating costs, they've done this while getting the majority of fans back onside, we're now in January and we're 3rd, have a game in hand, 1 game away from Wembley and done this having two players on a wage probably akin to most combined budgets in this league.

Stop acting like a bairn man...

will be the highest by the ed of the window. why spend a fortune-there shouldnt be a need to, which other club ever spent a fortuen to exit this league? we are sunderland, we shouldnt need to sopend a fortune?
do you accept now that stewrat must have had businesses thatturnover more than sunderlands £17m turnover for him to have enough money to drop £50m and counting on football?
do you accept we have the highest budget for football in the league?
do you acceot that the reason we have that is because steewrat is paying for it?
