Certainly it would have been financially better...for him, probably, but my loyalty and backing is for SAFC, so I'm happy for him to clear off so that we get a fee to reinvest rather than go for next to nothing. I know that some will say it might have been better for him to stay until the end of the season on the basis that his goals might get us promoted, but attitude is everything and I don't think his attitude would have been beneficial to us, but that's just my opinion.

Can see where you are coming from and don’t necessarily disagree but proof will be in how we replace him, how that player performs and ultimately if we get promoted....huge test for owners and managers now, fingers crossed we come out the other side with the result we all want

Doesn’t sound like his attitude is up to it from the stuff coming out today. Have to say he has looked fine on the pitch even in recent weeks.
Really interested to see how the club handle it now, we know money is limited so will be important to get it right. Could be huge in the short term future of the club.
