Well the good news is that the situation is coming to an end, we still have plenty of time to react in the window and I think £3.5m seems acceptable.

The bad news is we are effectively rebuilding the teams forward line in the last days of the window in what is a crucial season where promotion is a must.

majas all round game is OK..he is "just" a goalscorer..i mean he doesnt beat a player,,,is better in the air than I thought..not much pace..contirbutes little in overall play..

His Jerb's too put the baaall in the net is it not?

That totally depends on how much of it is allowed for a replacement and who it is.

Getting £3.5 million for someone who reportedly doesn't want to play again and could leave for peanuts in 6 months? Replaced with one of the most proven strikers in this level.

Yeah it's a shite deal. Will Grigg isn't on his level & we are weakening our attacking options.

All SD talked about on an earlier podcast was that we were looking at people who could make the step up next year. Haven't seen any linked and we're going after Grigg. It's a ioke

Its a fair point. I am surprised they have left it this late in the window, they have known that Maja would be away. Big week ahead.

Majas all round game is impressive, we aren't even creating chances yet he is getting us goals. Grigg was playing in a much more attacking & a better side last year. Maja practically makes his own goals
How often did you watch Wigan last season like? The only time I saw them was against Man City. Grigg looked canny then.
Getting £3.5 million for a player who could leave for buttons in the summer and replacing him with a proven goalscorer at this level and another striker on top would be excellent business.

How's Tony Coton's ticker holding up if anyone knows. Hope he doesn't have a say in strikers this time.

Helpful of Donald what with the deadline enforcement and all, as well.

Scores goals, what an awful thing for a striker to do. He's also shown he can do all the hold up play people criticised him for once Wyke came back. The agenda that he "doesn't do much else" is a load of bollocks because people are trying to convince themselves he's not going to make it without us.
