When you search lequipe website for Sunderland it says Ellis Short is Chairman and Coleman is manager, and Maja is 1m 80cm; nowt there about a transfer at all, and nowt on their twitter feed either

With all due respect I don’t think a national French newspaper’s focus will be updating a third division team’s stats.

Their journalists are reporting it as well mind.

ffs , needs resolving one way or other within the next week then know where stand , he obviously has every intention to leave so get him out and try get a replacement now

If I try to be objective about it, think it's a weird move for the player himself. Would totally get him wanting to sign for a Premier League or Bundesliga side or, as much as I hate to say it, someone upwardly mobile like Leeds who'd all no doubt pay him more. French top flight wages aren't huge in those terms and Bordeaux have challenged for the Europa League at best in recent years.
Or a chance to play in a different country, with a decent chance of playing and developing against some very good teams rather than warming the bench as he certainly would in the premier league. Perhaps money isn't the be all to him? Fair play to to the lad if so. He's scored a decent amount for us and has always put the effort in. He'll take some replacing, even at this level. There's no one at the club currently who can step in that's fairly certain from what we've seen. Time for the new owners to walk the walk

By the sounds of it he never had any intention of signing the contract - we offered exactly as was asked for and they've pied us off.

We need to get as much as we can for him now and then off he fucks for me - Now we need another couple in.

Time for the owners to show what they are made of.

Aye but I'm presuming someone working for France's main sport paper which has a reputation for being far more reliable than Lee Ryder will have some idea about Bordeux transfer business.
and its hardly done as clickbait..bordeux fans arent going to be knocking one out at the prospect of signing a striker from league one in england with half a good season behind him..
