How many on here have “side hustles”?

Might be a daft question but does signing up to all the betting sites have any impact on your credit rating? I wanted to give it a go a while back but thought it might look bad come remortgage time.
Set up a second bank account just for matched betting. Any searches for bookies are “soft searches” and don’t appear to other lenders.

I wouldn't like to say for certain as I've never been through the application stage whilst doing matched Betting but my mate did last year and had no problems at all. He said there was no mention whatsoever.

But if they look, they will see you have an account you aren't sharing....as that does show on your profile.

However, I remortgaged no bother with the same lender. No need to share statements. When I bought a house I just stopped most activity for 3 months.

I know a kid who works for Amazon delivering at weekends. He told me what he has to do work wise and I'd rather boil my head in a bucket of vomit than do that. He mentioned that if he has an accident he has to pay an excess of around a thousand pounds. No thanks.

No it doesn’t show on your credit report but when the mortgage company asks to see your bank statements they might get twitchy if they see lots of gambling transactions. Then again, they might not.
Yeah that's what I meant. Even with a second bank account you would need to show the statements for that I would imagine.

Not sure that would work. If you remortgage you usually have to send I bank statements of all your accounts (I think).

Depends.

I have a personal current account where my wages are paid and bills are paid, another with my current wife for family spending and a third for gambling. We re-mortgaged last year and i only told them about the first two accounts. Was fine and dandy.

Dont think i've ever been asked for bank statements to the point transactions are looked at. All my spendinfg is done on credit cards anyway. The only thing theyve asked for is proof of funds. I dont even receive statements anymore anyway.

Many, many moons I used to design customized skateboard decks and sell them. Didn't make much but it was fun.
