I don't know what to make of that game... the ref had a terrible game, not in terms of howlers, but in terms of the arbitrary nature of his decisions. One challenge gets a booking, a similar one gets a foul and again, another similar challenge isn't even a foul.


Wyke looked a long way from being good enough, today. Whether it's rustiness or not very goodness remains to be seen, but, we don't create loads of chances, so he's gonna have to sharpen up pretty quickly.

Wyke has been poor but he isn't helped by being the only player in the box when we have it out wide so easily marked. Also, when we do have it out wide it takes us an absolute age to cross the ball in and as such Wyke is invariably running away from goal as he made his run half an hour ago

Not happy about it, but I was smashed to pieces on here saying Wkye is not good enough. It seems the consensus is changing. Maja is leaving - fine....you can argue the toss all day about the rights and wrongs of that but we've known that has been coming for a while, what has the club done to replace him? We've dropped points the last 2 weeks in crucial games, the games are flying by. I'm not interested in Grigg either.....if he was any good Wigan a poor Chamoionship side, would want to keep him.

We are so close to being a serious side at this level......and we still have a chance. But there are cracks appearing......and I honestly think if we don't make 1 or 2 key signings we will be play-off bound.

Wyke has been very poor so far, but because he’s just come back after a long injury and no pre-season people are giving him a chance to prove himself and show what he can do, unfortunately he hasn’t performed and has shown very little.

Yes I'm gutted too, but you are right it's a top of the table clash and it's always going to be difficult. We are in the third tier for a reason. However, we will overcome and the future is bright.
