Don’t disagree but it’s going further away from how Ross likes to play

I see eave as a bottom half championship player at best mind

Looks better than Wyke though
He may do at the moment, as he's in the form of his life and Wyke has just come back from injury. Wyke has scored goals consistently throughout his career, however. Eaves hasn't.

is there any truth to this at all? if so our financial situation is even worse than I feared.
Ross has hinted at it prior to the window opening saying that he was just looking to bring in a defender as were short of strength in depth in the right full back position. He said that could change though if players were to leave and now we've got Maja not signing his contract and us more than coincidentally putting a bid in for Grigg.

He also said he would sign players if he felt they added value. Even if Maja stays I would say that Grigg adds value so I don’t take it as an indicator that Maja’s definitely off.

Apart from the odd appearance for Ireland I've no idea what this lad is like.

Anyone here actually seen him play much

The chairman has said a couple of times that were looking to bring in a forward whether Maja stays or not.

Scored against man City last season in there 1-0 win in fa Cup, he is a yes for me!

Catts was abject last season. He couldn't keep up with play most of the time while players literally walked past him. There's been nothing to suggest that he's made any sort of miracle recovery physically this season. He's so immobile and slow these days. A pale shadow of his former self.
no one played to their full potential last season except maybe honeyman..

It is far less a case of ability and much more a case of him being physically wrecked, leaving him largely immobile and very slow. It's his game management that sets him apart at this level as he still looks painfully slow even in this league.

Genuinely think that it's an effort to make us sound less desperate while we're trying to bring Maja's replacement in. Get the replacement in before Maja departs.

Aye a few times and he is exceptionally good at this level. Remember him last season single handedly destroying Man City (yes Man City) in the cup for Wigan last year. They couldn't handle him he was like a whipped

It would mean that both Ross and Donald have both outright lied to the supporters in the last week.

Would it be worth it for them to risk when they’re still relatively in the infancy of building a new transparent regime?
