Will Grigg will get us up. Few more players like him and we will win the league.

However, we need to be thinking about Championship quality players and not jist prolific league 1 players. Get players in now who are comfortable in the championship.

eaves is quite literally a less good version of wyke..in that whyke has a better scoring record than him at this level..i think we can do better..

grigg has a better record than maja in the championship, and like makja has only ever played for shit teams in the championship...maja has more potential to improve like..

Eaves would be more of a threat than Wyke. Imo.

the facts dont bear out what your saying..your basing it one season..evertytime sunderland have done that on the past it has failed (halfoford comes to mind)
 
I’d sign grigg for sure but don’t agree at all dismissing claims we shouldn’t be looking to sign players who can play in top end championship

We don’t want to be facing a massive change every summer, we want players who are either good enough now or can grow like Maja

The reality is although this year has been class a championship relegation battle would be horrendous so it’s defs worth looking to the future

We’ve been short termist for years

we have loads of championship standard players right now...but i think we would need five or six starting players for next year..which isnt that big a turnover..

polar bears fur is not white, its an optical illusion.

Im comparing his return to Wyke, hes 5 goals a season better than him and together that return is fine. A lot get carried away with the media circus around his "chant"

I'm basing it on what I've seen this season, against us for instance, and a mate of mine who's a Gillingham fan. He's an absolute handful, particularly from set pieces, of which we've been absolutely shocking in the league all season, considering the amount of corners we get in a game. An Andy Carroll type who on his day is unplayable, in this league. Plus he's a massive help in coming back and defending set pieces. He's scored 31 goals in 63 games. Him, Grigg and Wyke would be ideal in getting us promoted.
Like I say that's my opinion, I know yours so not getting in an argument about it.

Who do u think is chship quality except the keeper? Not being glib, just interested in who u think cud cut it on a regular basis.

We're not guaranteed to go up this season so attracting players who are better quality is difficult.

If/when we get promoted, it will be easier.

maja will almost certaion;y have a better career than him yes-but the point is if we go up next season we need proven not potential..maja isnt a proven championship striker and niether is grigg (arguably its been proven grigg cant cut it there) and i hope we arent relying on either if we go up..

maja doesnt seem to be attracting premier league interest though..
