Newborn baby sleeping advice..

Give up trying. Mine are 18 months old now and still won’t sleep. Learn to operate on 3 hours sleep and weep often.

This. 19 month old little angel goes to her own bed fine, but always ends up in the big bed with her Mammy (no) around 3am-4am, which results in me finishing off my kip on a single mattress on the back bedroom floor. Just go with it, it won't be forever (probably).

I can't offer any valuable insights, I'm afraid. I became a Dad for the first time aged 42 so I know I had far more patience at that age than when I was 22. I was more than happy walking around my baby daughters room at night with her in my arms balling her head off and it never bothered me.

Imagine not cleaning your baby. Disgusting.

I'll tell you what. You want to not say such horrible things.

It actually isn't great for a baby to be bathed everyday if you are using that awful Johnson and Johnson stuff.
The best thing for a baby is oil on its skin.
Soap and shampoo are terrible.

The point of the bath is more for creating a routine and the warmth relaxing them for bed.

Calm down.

Got four of em, all completely different and stuff that worked brilliantly for some of them didnt for others.....People can give you all sorts of advice but in reality the OP like everyone else will muddle through and then having thought they have cracked it, they will feel like they are back to square one.

The only thing you can guarantee with kids is hard graft and constantly feeling like you havent got a clue what you are doing no matter how experienced you get :lol::lol::lol:
