getting the house tidy for the xmas

I simply can't understand those women who want to decorate/paint the house, get new carpets/3 piece suites just "for Christmas".:rolleyes:
Do it in the spring - hence the term "spring cleaning".

It's bizarre marra. Don't get the frantic cleaning that has to be done because it's Christmas. One female friend was having a meltdown yesterday about cleaning her oven before Christmas. Who the hell visits at Christmas and checks the inside of the hosts oven? :confused:

My floors could do with a hoover but I'm sitting down watching the football instead :lol:

We had a cleaner in last week to do a 'deep clean'.

Our house is generally spotless yet it was cleaned and tidied in readiness for the cleaner coming.

She must have thought this is the easiest three hours work ever.

Women and Christmas - makes them even more mental than normal.
