i dont change my view when you repeat the same thibgs that arent true. They dint get the club debt free for example, the owed £20m in trafers, ellius cleared his debt, not all the debt.
As for getting the club cheap, they paid much more than quinny's mob did, and quinny's mob bought us in a gigher division.

the owners will pay it themselves. The problem is, if they pay it, it doesnt count as higher turnover, now the rules of the game are your wages have to be no higher than a certain percentage of turnobver. what an owner puts in isnt turnover, so means they cant pay higher wages, thats why utunrover has to behigher.

They got the club debt free and very cheap

Spin it as much as you want

I don’t expect them to increase prices by 500% no

Could pay for it themselves like. I don’t think new owners should put everything into debt, they got the club debt free. Poor if they do

They are gonna make money when they sell us on

He’s canny enough but just not going to change his view on anything
yopu appear to operate on the assumption that the onwers of every other club run them as charities, not tryin to be sustainable, just writing big cheques, there are no owners in league football like that. All you can ask is that onwers dont take money out until the club gets to the highest division it can, and run losses to fund the push, the club are doing both of those things right now, despite the fact that the current owners inheirted £20m of debt, and didnt get the season ticket money, which every other club owner has this year.

The club have priced this fairly. People are complaining because its gone from £3 to £15. Yes thats a hike, but the club were underselling themselves in the other home games. If they charged a flat rate of £10 for tickets in this competition regardless then people wouldn't have complained. Yet doing so would have meant paying over 50% more in total. £24 its going to cost me to attend the 4 home games, £6 average. Great value. If they charged £5 for the other 3 games and £10 for this people wouldn't complain. People need to see the bigger picture, the club needs to cover costs, were league 1 and not in a position to lose money on games, especially when they only charging £15 for a ticket. If its too much, dont go. But then dont go when its £40+ for a ticket for the final too. People want to take take take but look at the mess we've been in, these lads are doing their best to get the club self sufficient and that needs the fans to help.
I find it absolutely staggering that some people are failing to understand this.

they didnt get it debt free. thats dsimply not true, its somehting the previous owner put out there that was a lie.
And as for very cheap, businesses that lose money for a decade. will see their revenue fall constantly for years to come, has £20m of debt when they take over, and a big slice of revenue promised away is worth close to zero. Quinny paid less for the club when it was in a higher division.

what are the restrictions on them in terms of foirst team players?
The point is if our fans support sunderland, then they go to games to see our first team, and £15 to see the first team of a league one club is completely normal.
I do and I will. My point is about equating this game with playing Newcastle United. We aren’t, we’re playing Newcastle U21’s.

what team are newcastle allowed to put out? how many senior players? Im equating this with a sunderland first team game, thats what you pay to watch at sunderland, not the newcastle first team. I paid £20 to watch olur first team play accrington last week, accrington are not as good as the team newcastel will put out in this game. The Derby party if it is less relevant for me than the fact the sunderland firt team are playing, that they are playing and its a fiver cheaoer than the last time the team played.

if i said to you today, "ive cleared your detbts" you would be very happy.
If however, you looked in your wallet and discovered your money gone because I had used it to clear your debts, you would be less happy, and think I hadnt done you afavour.
Thats what ellis, in part, did. He took the season ticket money, the first lot of it, and used it to pay the debt, then told everyone he had paid the debt, but that just meant the new owners didnt have the season ticket money, so had no real income in the summer.
And then if you discovered that after all that, there was £20 still owed to people, but I said "ah but thats not debt" you would probably be less happy again.
Thats what Ellis did. So £20m of the para money went to that, so the owenrs couldnt use it to fund the club.
And then if I said I have fucked up really badly, so although I said I cleared your debt, you actually now owe a guy £10m, you would be less happy again.
Thats what Ellis did.

So when you say they got it debt free, they paid for it.

only 2 over 21 who have made 40 appearances i believe. will be more rules than that, but they wont be able to have a strong side made of 1st team players. It'll be the same as has played all their games

If they’d charged £3 regardless of police costs there would have been little chavs running riot all over the place trashing the place. Quite happy they’ve bumped the prices a bit so only proper fans will go. It’s still cheaper than a regular game.
Agreed, I'm black and white through and through but genuinely think if there's any bother in this match it'll likely be the chavs from our lot who start it.
