God doesn't exist - discuss

Alreet @Mick666 or should I say, Satan.

The irony on this board is that if you're a Buddhist, you could say 'Alreet Marra', and you'd be saying 'Alreet Devil'.

FWIW, does it make any difference if God exists of not?

Hello

Not really ... personally I do believe I suppose .. but thats 500 whacks of the cane later.

Ffs ... not meant to be a faith based thread ... just thought I'd try and be a smart c@nt!

I do believe I achieved that though!

Hello

Being a dull c@nt with no real persona of my own ... I got to thinking about the existence of God and all the great Philosophers, Scholars and Theologians of the ages who couldn't come to a conclusion on this thorny issue. So I decided to blow them all out of the water over lunch time. The basic preposition largely hinges on the definition of God.

When I was getting belted to sh@t off the nuns at primary school I do seem to remember having it imprinted on me that God knew everything and could do anything and everything and knew and could do everything all at the same time. There nothing he doesn't know or can't do.

In that case , if we accept the argument above, then if we can find one thing God can't do then he can't be God.

In that case I postulate that 'God doesn't exist as there is one thing he can't do. He can't 'think' as he already knows the answer. Therefore, if he can't think he can't be a god therefore God doesn't exist'.

Discuss.
God doesn't exist as there is no evidence of him.

If you need answers to hard questions, that means we don't yet know the answers and you can't use God as the answer till we do.

If you need to know where we came from, you'll need to get your head around the fact the universe is infinite and time is infinite, ergo the universe is various forms has always been here and at the moment we cannot see anything before the big bang. It's also infinite in size as it is also nothing therefore the nothing has to go one forever otherwise it would be something.

He's certainly trying
Hmmm ... I figure some might not be trying enough.

I have to admit, while I lay here off work with a smashed ass. This forum seems to remind me of most fishing tackle shops. You chaps know what I mean. The shop may well have 1000 customers from the infrequent summer Mackie bashed who pops in once a year for some daylights to the seasoned winter Cod angler who's out in all weathers and times of the year.

But there are always those three or four fking annoying c@nts who whenever you walk in, no matter what time of the day and whenever in the year ... they are there on the joe public side of the counter shooting the sh@t and looking you up and down like. You know e ones, usually fat bast@rds with it who haven't actually been fishing for 15yrs on account of being on disability or something.

Who gives a shit?

All theism is a variation of the oldest concepts of nature and the personification of those forces by the mind. From India through the Middle East to Europe and Great Britain those common concepts were spread by the Indo Europeans or Arya. Different languages that evolved produced different names for the same concepts, hence so many apparently different gods. Science has discovered and demonstrated the true nature of those forces.

With the emergence of monotheism those various attributes of the gods of nature were transferred to the new Almighty god. So powers that were never true were given to God who effectively became the new super construct.

those who don't believe in god want you to think one day nothing exploded and became something , flat earth lead me to the conclusion that we are here by intelligent design not by a happy accident
