Was thinking today, they could reopen the north east corner upper and call it the Magpie zone. Be nice for them to have their own area and make them feel more at home.

This x million........calling it the roker end when the north stand is probably closer to roker is daft to me! roker was great and my best memories are there but its about geography and the way it sounds .........if they simply added "park" and called it the roker park end ..well that makes sense and pays homage to the great old ground.calling it the roker end just sounds daft.............i would have voted for the roker park end but i chose to pay homage to the north easts greatest ever player1...in the end people will in everyday use probably shortebn it to 2roker"but for an official name to make sense it has to be the roker park end and not roker end imho

Didn’t vote for it but Wearside (without the End) has a nice ring to it.

Nowhere at the ground makes sense to be called Roker. The North would make more sense as colliery end

Surely Roker needs to be North or East stand? Colliery end would be best name for a stand built on a colliery.

Seems a bit stupid calling it the Roker end when it ain't in Roker. In opted for the Raich Carter stand.

Would be unhappy with anything but the Carter option, a tribute that I think he deserves.
Roker end should stay with Roker Park and that history. As said before, on the wrong side.
Wearside is bland and could be applied to any stand even if the south stand is nearest the river.
A lot of support including me comes from the colleries but again from all directions.
Tenuous but the Carter artwork on the Blue House does face and line up with the back of the south stand
